A new 'living wall' has now been installed at the front of Henley in Arden C of E Primary School. A massive thank you to last year's Year 6 cohort for raising money towards this, supported by the previous Head of School, Jill Allen. We are also thankful to local firm MPA Financial Management for further sponsorship.
Pupils at St Nicholas C of E Primary School are setting themselves a fascinating challenge this Autumn to share their family heritage. All our schools subscribe to the amazing Lyfta

The Thrive Approach is integral to the development and wellbeing of our pupils across the MAT. On the 18th October we are having a Thrive Awareness Day across all of our schools. This day is a celebration and awareness raising event, to share what Thrive is and how we use it within our setting to support our children and families.
Always a bitter sweet time of the year as pupils move on. A big goodbye to all our year six pupils across the MAT. We wish you all the best and are sure that you will be amazing year sevens at your new schools.
Also goodbye and good luck to any staff leaving us this Summer and enjoy all that you do next!
St Nicholas CofE Primary School in Alcester voted to support the Water Aid UK project to provide “Clean water for everyone everywhere”
To understand the journey that many children worldwide make on a daily basis to find water, the whole school walked to the River Arrow to collect water in a bucket and return it to school.
The pupils voted to select this cause to support this term. the pupils wanted to raise awareness of the cause, as well as raise money.
To support the event, families donated £1 to twin a toilet in the school with an overseas toilet. Toilet Twinning is another charity that will use the school's donation to supply sustainable resources for families overseas to build their own toilets and provide education about good hygiene. The school raised enough money to twin 2 of their toilets!
Congratulations to Henley in Arden C of E Primary School who won a Silver Safe & Active Travel Schools Award from the Road Safety Education Team at Warwickshire County Council. Harbury C of E Primary School had a visit from Andrew Warren, the Regional Director of Education for the West Midlands. There was a really positive discussion around the benefits of joining the MAT, a well as the challenges facing schools currently.
Is there a better place to work near Christmas than a primary school? At all our schools you can see and hear Christmas, from the beautiful artwork, the decorations, the nativity plays and collective worship. It's also when we get to welcome in our parents/carers and extended community to celebrate this wonderful time of the year with us. A very Merry Christmas from the Arden Forest C of E MAT!
