The Right Reverend Jelley is a senior leader in the Church of England with a track record of leadership and governance experience within education at all levels. She was Chair of the board of Education in Diocese of Sheffield for 5 years and membership of two MATs in that time. She has a particular interest in Early years foundation stage and experience with LAC. Though much of her experience has been in the context of church of England Schools she also has extensive experience of engagement with community schools and the independent sector.

April is Diocesan Director of Education for Coventry Diocese. She was previously Deputy Director of Education and has a broad range of experience in supporting schools, parishes and Churches to provide distinctively Christian Education.  She was previously a Deputy Head Teacher in a large Secondary School in Rugby, and has worked in education for 23 years.

April hold qualifications in Educational Leadership and Management, Christian Counselling and Psychology and is passionate about enabling all members of school communities to flourish as they pursue an education for life in all its fullness.

Katie is Rector of the Alcester Minster Benefice, a group of eight rural parishes surrounding the Market town of Alcester. They include two Church of England Primary schools and three community primary schools which she supports. She has previously worked as a Rector in Devon where she served on three Governing bodies as foundation governor supporting eight primary schools over a number of years. Prior to ordination, Katie was a youth and community worker in Shropshire.

Sue is a full time Finance and HR Director, working for a French group of companies. She has worked in the IT and healthcare technology business for the last 25years+. Sue became a co-opted governor over 20 years ago, and has served on four governing bodies, chairing three of these at various times during her service. She brings HR and finance expertise to the Board, as well as knowledge of being a governor and chairing committees & bodies.

Virginia has worked in education and social care for 40 years after obtaining a First-Class Degree in Special Needs Education. She worked as a Headteacher in a residential special school and for Sense (supporting people with sensory and communication needs) in a variety of management, policy, training and practice development roles. She has been a Samaritan volunteer for 15 years, twice taking the role of Director at Stratford Branch. She has a total of 18 years’ experience as a Governor, serving on three governing bodies.
